else意指“其他；其他的”，它能够用作形容词，还可以用作副词。它用法如下所示：
1．else用作形容词
else用作形容词时常常用于作后置定语，即：放在疑问代词who，what，which等后边，或是放在something，anything，nothing，anyone，everyone等不定代词以后。
如：
1) Who else can you see？你还能看见别的什么人？
—What else do you want？你还是要想别的什么？
—Nothing else．别的什么也不要了。
2) Is there anything else in your bag？你包里还有别的什么东西吗？

2．else用作副词
else用作副词时一般放在疑惑副词when，where，how等后边。
